For me, real estate has never been only about houses. A home is part of something bigger — the neighborhood around it, the places you visit every week, the schools and parks nearby, the people you meet, and the routines that eventually become memories. That is a big part of why I created this site.

A real estate site that feels more like home

There are plenty of places online to search listings. I wanted to build something different: a useful local resource for people who are buying, selling, relocating, or simply trying to know this part of Michigan a little better.

That means you'll find real estate guidance here, but you'll also find community and neighborhood information, local events, market perspective, and some of the places and experiences that make Southeast Michigan such a special place to live. Because choosing a home is rarely just choosing four walls. You're choosing what life around those four walls might look like.

This area is personal to me

I was born and raised in Washtenaw County, went to high school in Ann Arbor and attended Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. Over the years, my family and I have called Manchester, Dexter and Ann Arbor home. We raised our family here, spent years around youth sports, and became part of the communities where we lived.

We also spent time living in the Dallas–Fort Worth area before returning to Michigan. Leaving and coming back gave me another perspective on what "home" really means. I understand the excitement and uncertainty that come with relocating, learning a new community and figuring out where your family fits. And I understand the pull of coming back to a place that feels like yours.

Why I love helping people buy and sell homes

Buying a home can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. Selling can be just as emotional. You're making an important financial decision while sometimes saying goodbye to a place that holds years of memories. I don't take either side of that lightly.

What I enjoy most about this work is helping people make those decisions with good information, a clear plan and someone firmly in their corner. Sometimes that means finding the right house. Sometimes it means knowing when a house isn't the right one. Sometimes it means preparing a longtime home for market and telling its story in a way that helps the next owner see what made it special.

What I hope you'll find here

My goal is for this site to grow into a resource you can return to, whether you're seriously thinking about a move or you're simply curious about what's happening around town. I'll share practical buying and selling advice, community guides, neighborhood stories, local market context and a regular roundup of things to do around the area.

I created this site because I wanted a place that reflects the way I actually think about real estate. Homes matter, but so do the communities around them. Whether you're preparing to sell a home you've loved for years, trying to find the right neighborhood for your next chapter, relocating to Southeast Michigan or simply looking for something to do this weekend, I hope you'll find something useful here.

This is home for me, too. I'm looking forward to sharing more of it with you.
